Christian Fletcher

Christian Fletcher

Singer, actor and voice teacher Christian Fletcher has performed with the opera companies of Santa Fe, Banff, Vancouver, San Jose, Opera Northeast, Rockland, Boston Lyric and The Manhattan School. Musical Theater roles include leading roles in West Side Story, The Threepenny Opera, Carousel, The Sound of Music and many Gilbert and Sullivan musicals. He has originated roles in Enter the Guardsman, The Green Heart and The Wild Party (Lippa). His extensive concert work has taken him around the globe, including concerts in London, Paris, Prague, Nice, Milan, Montevideo, Athens, Toronto, Taipei and the islands of Greece.

He has directed and coached cabarets, Miss USA pageants and specializes in singing for dancers and actors. Through the teachers collective, Voice Connection International (VCI), Christian has designed and taught workshops across the USA and internationally in Croatia, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Brazil, Uruguay, France, Spain, Italy and Canada. He currently teaches and is on the admissions staff at AMDA NY/ College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts. Mr. Fletcher is Artistic Director of Forecast Productions which produces concerts in New York City and founded the Forecast Talent Agency for career counseling and career advancement.

His students have performed at The Metropolitan Opera, regional opera houses and on Broadway in Hamilton, Les Miz, The Lion King, Tarzan, Motown, Aladdin, Beautiful, 42nd Street, Play On and Cats. National Tours: Hamilton, Spamalot, Finding Neverland, Cabaret, Shrek, Flashdance, The Producers, Motown, Saturday Night Fever, The Wizard of Oz, Rock of Ages and We Will Rock You. Many have been featured in films and on television.

He is a Grammy Award quarter-finalist for Music Educator of the Year (2018 and 2019), an accomplished chef and has published articles online.

Nicole Davey

Nicole Davey

Nicole Davey, originally from California, is a New York City based performer, dance/fitness instructor and choreographer. A graduate of The American Musical & Dramatic Academy (AMDA) NYC, Nicole has performed in 2 US National Tours, a headlining show in Las Vegas and at various regional theaters.

Some favorite credits include: Cabaret (National Tour), Jubilee! (Las Vegas), Les Miserables, The Will Rogers Follies, and On The Town.

Teaching/Choreography credits include: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Theater Dance at AMDA, NYC; Lyrical, Tap, Theater Jazz at New Canaan Dance Academy; International Musical Theater Workshops with VCI at 3AMI Hong Kong, Beijing Dance Academy (BDA), Shanghai Culture Square, Shanghai Dramatic Art Center, AMcreative in Taiwan, The Tianqiao Performing Arts Center in Beijing, Espaco 10X21, Sao Paolo Brazil, Husar & Tomcic, Zagreb, Croatia and choreographer for Forecast Productions in NYC.

The combination of athletic stamina, dancer like grace, and mind-body connection is where Nicole’s true joy in teaching shines. She is certified in Pilates Mat from The Kane School of Kinected NYC, and is a Master Teacher Trainer (Barre Certification) with Pure Barre Denver/NYC.

Christopher Stephens

Christopher Stephens is voice teacher, pianist, and music director living in New York City.
He has worked on and off-Broadway in shows such as Matilda, Wicked, Shout! the Mod Musical, Captain Louie, Anything Goes, Channeling Doris Day, as well as Carnegie Hall’s Take the Stage with the Broadway Stars (starring Tony Award winner Jessie Meuller).
Catherine Fitzmaurice, Ricky Ian Gordon, Adam Jacobs, Tina Landau, Alan Menken, Kelli O’Hara, Mandy Patinkin, and Emily Skinner are several of the many artists for which Christopher has served as pianist.
Teaching credits include Act & Art (Buenos Aires), AMDA, NYU, Pace University, Wright State University, the Artist’s Crossing (artistscrossing.org), Torggler Vocal Institute, Uruguayan Musical Theater Congress, West End Musical Theater, and Utah Conservatory.
Christopher is an Upright Citizen’s Bridage-trained improviser and a graduate of the University Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.

Livia Dabarian

Livia started her international career traveling throughout Brazil and Europe as the lead singer on Island Star cruises, with a move to New York City, she studied at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA). While in New York, she won the musical reality show “Dancing on Broadway”, was a lead in the Discovery Channel series “Deadly Sins” and played Camila in the off- broadway version of “In the Heights” .

A native of Brazil, Livia returned home and starred in: “Chacrinha, The Musical” as Rita Cadillac, Scaramouche in “We Will Rock You”, the funny waitress in “World Goes Round”, Mary Matoso and the lead “Natasha”’s alternate in “Vamp, the musical” for the run and tour. She was also in the Emmy winning comedy channel’s “Porta dos Fundos”.

She maintains a private voice studio and has taught acting and singing internationally at the 8th International Musical Theatre Congress of Uruguay, AMcreative in Taiwan, The Shanghai Theatre Academy in China and for Living Broadway at the Musical Theatre Congress in Madrid.

In 2020 she was the resident director for the Brazilian version of the Broadway production “Donna Summer, the musical” and since moving to Madrid, Spain in 2020 she has been playing the role of Killer Queen, the villain, in We Will Rock You..

Cyril Journet

Trained in Vaganova, Graham and Mattox techniques, Cyril Journet is a jazz dance specialist teaching at the Academie Internationale de la Danse in Paris. On the stages of the Palais des Congrès, Folies Bergères, Casino de Paris, Théâtre du Châtelet, Opéra Garnier and Bastille, he danced works by renowned choreographers such as Blanca Li, Kamel Ouali, Rob Ashford, Lynn Page, Laura Scozzi. Shows credits include Gerard Presgurvic’s Roméo et Juliette, Michel Legrand’s Les demoiselles de Rochefort, Bob Fosse’s Chicago, Leonard Bernstein’s Candide, Lerner/Loewe’s My fair lady, Rameau’s Les Indes Galantes. Movies include Etienne Chatillez’s Agathe Cléry, Fabien Onteniente’s Disco, Audrey Estrougo’s Toi, moi et les autres, Christian Faure’s Fais danser la poussière, Paul Calori /Kostia Testut’s Sur quel pied danser. His assistant choreographer activity includes collaboration with visionary director Franco Dragone, multi-creative french artist Olivier Dubois, iconic jazz choreographer Redha. He was one of the dance leaders on the Akram Khan’s project, Kadamati and lead choreographer of the show Leila, the land of imagination at King Fahad Stadium in Riyadh..

Pao-Chang

Pao-Chang graduated from the department of drama and theatre, National Taiwan University and received his master’s in music theatre from Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London. He served the co-artistic director at Tainaner Ensemble between 2009-2018. Learning has always been at the top of Pao-Chang’s priority when it comes to his career, exposing himself to various practitioners and companies with diverse views on theatre. But with learning also comes teaching, as Pao-Chang has spent time teaching youth theatre, universities, and master classes abroad, where he puts to practice all that he has learned.

Pao-Chang Tsai is frequently seen as a creator equipped with three talents- playwrighting, directing and acting, and has worked with the National Symphony Orchestra, Horse Dance Theatre and Cloud Gate Dance Company. Since 2009, Pao-Chang has been invited as the co-artistic director to collaborate with Po-Shen Lu at Tainaner Ensemble. The list of productions he has been involved in have won him great recognition- these include: Taishin Arts Award: the Creative Society’s <Who-Ga-Sha-Ga> that has won the best production of the year, Tainaner Ensemble’s Shakespeare Unplugged 3: Macbeth has been listed as the top 10 performing arts production of the year. His Musical script <Mulan> has not only won the first price of the 3rd Tainan Literature Award but also received its revival at Taipei National Theatre and was invited to Singapore Sentosa Theatre for its critically acclaimed 36 shows. Additionally, his six-hour TV Series inspired play <K24> has not only made a milestone in Taiwan’s theatre history, and also received great reviews from theatre professionals and audiences from China and Taiwan. <K24> was invited as the opening show for the 8th Chinese Theater Festival. In 2011, Pao-Chang was invited to direct <Re/turn> for Eslite Bookstore with its 30 sold-out performances and 4-time revival up today. The CommonWealth Magazine has selected Pao-Chang Tsai as the Future Young Leader in Performing arts. He also went to America Repertory Theater at Harvard University for further study in Voice and Speech sponsored by Asian Cultural Council and visited Moscow Art Theatre for three months.

Pao-Chang completed his residency at Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris in 2015. His first solo show <Solo Date> received its premiere in Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2016 and was invited to be the opening show of Linz Electronica Festival, Austria and San Francisco International Arts Festival (2018). In 2017, he was invited to attend International Forum at Berlin Theatertreffen and a guest performer at Starlight Seoul Musical Festival. Recently he fulfilled his playwright-in-residence at Ashland, Oregon Shakespeare Festival and a research on musical theatre training pedagogy at New York City as a grantee of Asian Cultural Council.

Pao-Chang has published five stage scripts: <Q&A Episode 1>, <Q&A Episode 2>, <Mulan: The Musical>, <K24 Season 1> and <Re/turn>. He has been also lecturing in universities and conducting various workshops in Taiwan, France, and the U.S.A., focusing on acting, voice training and speech. He also assisted several master classes conducted by world famous artists such as Simon Mcburney (Complicite), Roberta Carreri (Odin Teatret).
